Description:

The historic Howard House is named after Congressional Medal of Honor winner, Civil War general Oliver Howard. The house is located on Officer's Row, just north of the Vancouver Barracks. Today, the house is the visitor's center local chapter of the Historic Reserve, and displays exhibits on the area's wonderful history from the 19th century to the present.
